Danny Yang – Violinist

Danny Yang is a versatile violinist and dedicated educator. After winning the National Tsing Hua University Concerto Competition and performing actively at various festivals and with orchestras, he has been gaining recognition for his artistry and leadership in the classical music world. His recent engagements include invitations as a guest artist with the Music & More Foundation in New York City, Camerata Franconia in Nürnberg, Germany, and the Coronado Philharmonic in San Diego. These accomplishments reflect his technical excellence and expressive musicianship, earning him acclaim on both national and international stages.

Danny has captivated audiences with solo performances ranging from Bach and Ysaÿe’s sonatas to contemporary works, including electroacoustic compositions. As a soloist, he has performed concertos by Shostakovich, Vivaldi, and Brahms (Double Concerto), and has collaborated closely with composers, some of whom have dedicated works to him. His collaborative spirit and leadership are further demonstrated by his experience as concertmaster and assistant concertmaster with ensembles such as the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra and MusicaNova Orchestra.

Beyond his performance career, Danny is passionate about teaching and mentoring violin students of all ages. He is currently a Doctorate candidate in Violin Performance at Arizona State University, studying under Professor Danwen Jiang. Danny continues to refine his artistry while inspiring the next generation of musicians.
